Before Schmidt’s Naturals officially launched in 2010, founder Jaime Schmidt was busy making a wide array of personal care products from her kitchen in Portland, Oregon. Each product was handmade and tested to perfection, though at the time she adamantly focused on “cracking the deodorant code” and produced the award-winning natural formula that brought Schmidt’s deodorant to where it is today: accessible nearly everywhere.
Seven years, six signature scents, and four deodorant lines later, Schmidt’s Naturals is proudly nodding to our humble beginnings, and finally answering our customer’s cries for more, with Schmidt’s Naturals bar soaps.
Inspired by our mission to provide quality natural alternatives to conventional personal care products, our bar soaps are truly saponified (which literally means “turning fats and oils into soap”) with sustainable palm oil, certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.
You won’t find synthetic detergents or controversial ingredients like SLS, phthalates, PEG, artificial dyes, or artificial fragrance in our soap. What you will find is a natural, gentle formula derived from plants, not to mention an aromatic, moisture-rich, and super sudsy cleansing experience.
Yes, sudsy. 🛁 Imagine frothy, foamy bubbles, but the natural kind. Each of our bar soaps provides a gentle, rich and creamy lather generated by safe, plant-based ingredients and are free of synthetic foaming agents, such as sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium coco sulfate (SCS). Because bubbles should be good, clean fun.
And have you ever found yourself scrolling through endless flower baths on Pinterest wishing you had the gumption to fill your tub with fruit and florals? We did the dirty work for you and paired each of our bar soaps – available in our six signature scents – with a unique natural exfoliant to help remove dead skin cells and reveal healthy feeling skin.
